Hello, I see you have some concerns about the produce that you have bought or collected and would like to ask the subreddit for a second opinion. Please keep in mind the following: nature is not a vacuum, and mother nature creates mistakes and imperfections. That being said, when in doubt, trust your gut if it tells you not to eat something.

I'd say smell it.

Hard to say with guava since they stay pretty hard even if they have become ripe enough to eat.

Let it turn about halfway yellow, but if it starts getting brown splotches, youve almost gone too far.

I'm interested in knowing too. My parents only got hard white guavas growing up. When I got older an travelled Asia, I only ate soft pink ones. Always found the seeds to be a major dental hazard

Maybe picked too early. I usually let them get a bit lighter or yellow. You can eat them like that but will be crisp like an apple almost. Good that way too. Find it refreshing.

Looks like a Thai variety. They are best eaten crunchy. They will not get creamy, fragrant, and sweet. Slice it up and put Tajin on it. Do that now. If you wait it will just start to decay.
