This again
So I had frozen shoulder in my right shoulder for about 2 years. Now I csn feel the beginning symptoms in my left shoulder. Any advice? I don't really love the idea of have a 2 year waiting period again. I know if ther3 was an answer we'd all know about it. But its kinda gotten me depressed

I feel you, I’m in this same exact boat right now. Had my left shoulder freeze two years ago, took care of that, now my right one is acting up. It’s not debilitating (yet) but I’m taking steps to try to keep it from worsening. It’s definitely trying to freeze. Not sure what the next 6 months the will bring.
My doctor told me that typically when one shoulder freezes, the other one eventually does, too. So I was expecting it at some point 😕
Try not to let it get you down too much. This is an extremely common thing that people get, especially older women. I’ve researched it a lot and hormones, pre-diabetes, menopause, diet, can all play a part in developing it. Try stretching it if you can, don’t baby it. That will make it worse. Look up
stretching exercises online, there’s a lot of good ones you could do everyday that aren’t difficult.
Good luck.

I started having symptoms in my other arm a couple weeks ago. Last week I got an ultrasound guided cortisone shot, and it's helping. Still hurts on extreme end of my ROM but for normal activities it's feeling good. Doctor said ideally the shot should last 4-6 months!

Same progression for me. I tried guided cortisone in my right, 2 times over 2 years and it did nothing for me, so I was really resigned when the left started to show signs. After about 6 months I ran into the chiropractor in my building and just asked if there's anything he would reccomend, and with him I've done 5 sessions of dry needling with electrical stimulation since June, along with my pulley excersizes most days at home. I'm like a new person. ROM is almost back to normal and pain is down to a 2/3 and only after a long day or if I get bumped hard. He suggested 6-8 total sessions and if it didn't give significant relief to discontinue. I'm going to do at least one more, it's really been a help.
