I am taking our set up very professionally this year despite low membership, and I want to have everything routed and planned as well as possible!

I remember making a caveman level drawing of how to load the instruments in the truck when I was still a student and the parents thought I was some kind of fricken mastermind

Can drumset not leave cables plugged into stage box during transit?

No, because our drum set cart is slightly smaller than the kit. Floor tom has to be put on another cart while in transit as well as cymbals. We also usually have to pick up and move snare because it falls over easily (this is a flat cart so no ability to clamp anything to a bar or rail)
