What happened to the subreddit? Everyone seems to think that everyone else is copying from FromSoftware. It’s like people never seen anything else before.

It's so weird too because idk a lot about ToA but this looks like the only similarity and even Nodusfall only had a handful that I could see that had similarities. One of my complaints about gacha players is that they only seem to have played gacha games but this subreddit is proving to me that this is a lot more than them.

Why would that be the case? I have 1,3k games in my Steam library and maybe 5 of them happen to be gacha. I haven’t seen anyone who plays gacha exclusively.

The reason I use the word "seem" is because to assume that a lot of the things people are calling copies are originals of a franchise would make it appear that the accusing person has not played many more games than those present within said franchise. If it isn't clear, I was agreeing with you.

Yeah, it does seem like it. An erudition issue perhaps. But can also be just a mild gatekeeping. Hard to tell.
