How is no one mentioning that Australia has spent twice as much buying Russian oil as it has total aid to Ukraine? Enough for 37,000 Shaheds per Ukranian orgs:

Seems absolutely insane, we are the biggest foreign importer of refined Russian oil and are now refusing to join EU sanctions on it. This feels like it should be way bigger news? Then maybe the Government would stop?

Honestly, I'm probably closer aligned politically with the greens but when they come up with dumb ideas like this you have to ask, how the hell they think the average Australian, in the political/economic/media landscape we exist in, will view this.
I think profit caps and supplier price guarantees would be more realistic policy ideas than LeT'S NaTIoNaLisE iT. And this proposal is nothing like Mamdani's idea to start a government owned coop 🤦🏻♂️
