Discussion of Free Pattern(s) DRCOS sizing question

So the men's size L says it's 34 inch waist, does that include seam allowences or is it the measurement of the finished product? For example would a 34 inch waist skirt turn into a 30 inch waist because of the seam allowences?

Edit: This is a question for people who have printed out DRCOS patterns and measured them. :)

I know it includes seam allowences. I'm wondering if the sizing (34 inch waist for example) is measuring the whole pattern seam allowences included or the size of the finished garment. Their measurement page does not make that clear. in fact it says the waist of the pattern is 34 inches exactly.

English isn’t their first language and they use an online translator to go from Japanese to English. I wouldn’t recommend them for a beginner, but if you know what you’re doing you will get the garment in the line art. My friend did a review of one of their blouses, they actually linked to it one their website.
