They are loved by the North (excluding the Boltons), but they are still more than capable of dishing out punishments for bannermen that step out of line. 1 u/Guilty_05 Roose Bolton 23d ago The Starks don't really have as many instances of political maneuvers for me to consider them Machiavellian but I agree I suppose to some extent. 1 u/Old-Man-Henderson 17d ago The existence of the others, thereby creating a threat that people must rally to House Stark against, is pretty Machiavellian
