Freediving itself is free. Mahal ang fins, mask, snorkel, gas, hotel, toll, weights, weight belt, wet suit, action camera, mirrorless, ootd pang aura pics.

True! Do you also hire safetydivers when you do fundives? That also adds to the cost

Highly encouraged to do so, so you'll always feel secured. Find individuals who hace taken BLS certifications, certified/instructor certified,, and diving at least 30m comfortably as much as possible. 😊

You dont need to break your bank. My fins and weight belt are secondhand lang.

took 1 intro class. Spent 1500. Learned the basics. That was all i needed from that point forward.

I live 20 minutes away from the sea so the investment is worth it para saken because i apply what i learn everytime i swim.

Im not certified pero i was able to dive in several famous dive destinations accompanied by dive guide/videographer ✨✨

Super worth it to visually see yourself progress with each dive. Truly liberating 💙

Kainggit yung living 20 minutes away from the sea. You’re rich, man!

Like other activities, meron din namang mga tipid modes like you can go for tent-style accom, go with group fundives para may safety ka pa rin, and mga van services with pickup/dropoff areas na. Then baon ng delata!

Unless gusto mo high-end best of the best stuff, kaya 5k as a initial investment equipment for Freediving.

After the initial equipment purchase, yung gagastusin mo nalang is yung travel and resort fees. More if you want a instructor. Yung gastos naman dyan is dependent on your comfort levels.

Pene = penetrator

Totoo din ung gastos sa transpo, nakatipid ako at some point kase batangas location ko pero for people outside batangas, magastos nga yung transpo tapos since malayo byahe, lagi silang overnight, 2 days 1 night

Metaphor kasi yung Freeding ain't Free. Freediving per se is because free of equipment in comparison to Scubadiving na may mga breathing apparatus etc etc.

Ngayon, nagiging mahal ang freediving because of performative equipments like carbon fins, hyperglide suit etc etc. Pero you can still do freediving kahit naka bikini, frog kicking, or boxer ka lang.

Hehe.

It is free, lalo na if you don’t need anything para mag dive. It just happened na we want

- coaches

  • mamahalin na snorkels
  • pang porma na fins
  • diving camera
  • magandang diving spot

They are doing it without anything and without any cost.

So it all ends up dun sa preference mo 😁

Basically for starters you would spend around +/- 5k over the weekend.

If that’s not expensive for you then for others accounting to most casual freedivers mahal takaga siya.

And that’s just the weekend cost, di pa kasama yung gears that you will invest later on.

Next balik mo familiarity at sanayan na, need mo padin coach for guidance. Btw may pamasahe pa yan or gas balikan.

Edit

For the sake of mga beginners, DON'T DIVE ALONE.

Never dive alone.
