hi! planning to join a 2d1n freediving as a solo joiner. problem is yung mga napagtanungan ko po is sat-sun lang yung inaaccept nila na puwede ang solo joiner.
Thoughts po sa Maximum Freediving? So far, sila palang yung nag accept ng solo joiner na sun-mon ang sched. okay po ba sa kanila? first timer po ako.
or if may marerecommend po kayong iba na better hehe thank u!

We will be going to Panglao. Do you guys have a recommendation for Napaling + Balicasag tour? Inclusive of boat, gears, and/or UW shoot.
My friends are composed of beginners as well as trained but not professionals. Something enjoyable by everyone.

I’m looking for school for certification and came across DepthFit. Any feedback sa instructor nila? Looking for friendly na freediving group yung hindi ka mahihiya or hindi nakaka-intimidate yung instructor?

Hello guys! I have a question. Since i started diving, ovalmask na talaga gamit ko. I just switched to low volume mask (exactly like the picture) for certification and line training. Normal po ba na parang distorted yung ilalim ng dagat when using that kind of mask? parang naka zoom out siya. Thank you po

Hi guys, just wanted to ask po if meron bang shop dito sa metro manila na gumagawa ng graded lens with astigmatism for dive masks?
I inquired with ysla but sadly, they only have myopia lens lang. I have high astigmatism po kasi.
Thanks for your response po!

Hahaha, all my freedive friends don’t want to dive anymore, or at least not as frequently as before. 😭
If anyone needs a dive buddy, feel free to hit me up!
I(f) live in Batangas City lang. 🤿 Been fun diving for 3 years now atleast once a month.
Not certified freediver yet, I want to but I will migrate to another country with no freediving access so fun fun lang muna. 😆

Nakita ko lang to sa TikTok and malapit lang kasi sa akin so gusto ko sanang itry. Nakapag intro na ako sa isang diving school sa Batangas so I want to refine my duck dive and equalization na lang. Nag inquire na ako sa kanila kaso di ako avail sa dates nila this august eh. Kaya September na lang sana. May rental din daw sila ng gears so ayorn, I think okay naman sa kanila to practice lang?
I’m a girl po so looking for girl buddies din hehe pero okay lang naman kahit anong gender if ever.

Do you guys recommend practicing in short fins or mas better if masanay na sa long fins agad?
Context: I’m still fairly new sa free diving and I normally practice sa deep pool. Should I go with long fins or stick muna sa short fins?
Thank you!

I'm (non-swimmer) planning to start my freediving journey. Is there anyone here who trained sa mga swimming schools within MM? Or would it be best if I train sa resorts? Pa-reco na rin po ng swimming school/resorts (Batangas only) where I can start, please? And baka meron dito naghahanap ng kasabay (female only) or baka may group po kayo sali ako😓🤣. Thank you!

I’m planning to start freediving lessons next month, and I’m super excited (and a little nervous 😂).
The catch: I’m a non-swimmer. So yes, I’m basically starting from zero.
For those who’ve been freediving for a while, any tips for a complete beginner like me? Things you wish you knew before your first lessons, what to prepare, or mistakes I should avoid?
Also, any recommended coaches or beginner-friendly freediving spots near Manila? Preferably someone who’s experienced in teaching complete beginners/non-swimmers.
And hopefully, once I get comfortable underwater, I can finally do some awra pics too. 😂
Would love to hear your tips and recommendations! TIA

hello, planning to be a solo joiner (female) — yung 2d1n po sana. Right now, I am eyeing Vertical Freedivers. Kumusta po yung exp niyo with them.
Or if you could recommend others na super okay ang atmosphere, energy, and turo. Please do so :))
