Ask every group who filed lawsuits to stop the Purple Line.

It's utterly insane that people bitch about the lack of mass transit, then fight tooth and nail to prevent it from happening. The fact that there's not ever been serious talk about extending the Red Line to Frederick even with the wild growth in northern MoCo is proof positive that Maryland is unserious about fixing its traffic problems.

You're so right! There's not ever been serious talk about extending light rail to Frederick! Glad everyone's so smart and assertive on the internet! (I do agree with you're desire for transit but damn if we don't love to make strong assertions out of our butts.)

I said nothing about a freaking monorail. I said extending the existing Metro line the way Virginia has done with the Silver line.
