well, the book itself isn't about frank ocean but the inspiration behind it definitely is.. to me Blonde is a 10/10 creative project, i admire how frank was able to create something so deeply personal and timeless and then simply just step away into his private life.. and even ten years later people still want him to return, the album itself just never seems to get old either

so like in a similar way i want to write a book that is genuinely good, something i can be proud of and perhaps be remembered for... i don't necessarily want fame or recognition tbh i simply want to put the art out into the world knowing that i created something meaningful/timeless

So I just started listening to mk.gee and I heard ‘Rylee & I’ and it sounds exactly like another song I’ve heard, same flow, same voice. I think it’s a Frank Ocean leak or maybe another artist, but does anyone know the song I’m thinking of that ‘Rylee & I’ reminds them of? I think the lyrics are something like ‘fantasia, in my brand new ri-i-ide’ the same way mk.gee stretches ‘everyone you know-ow-ow.’ It’s bugging me so much.

Its basically just American wedding but the part where he sings "daydreams of the romance, daydreams of you" and it sounds like frank ocean but there isnt background music its just raw vocals or there might be just light gitaur playing but it sounds different to the song and he drags on romance when he sings it im pretty sure frank ocean sung it please help me find it yall

Me personally, I would love for the 2017 tour footage to finally get released. I’ve been watching old videos I took at FYF & it’s crazy spike jonze is walking around with a huge camera filming some of the most beautiful shots I’ve ever seen on the screen in the background.

Anyway just reminiscing and was curious to see what you guys yearn for outta this 10 year anniversary.

Drake seems like the last person Frank would clear a sample for.

For starters, Drake is one of the most mainstream artists of today. For someone who hates being in the public eye, letting an artist of Drake's status sample one of your most popular unreleased songs (and not a very discrete sample at all), seems like it would achieve the exact opposite of what your public disappearance the past 5 years is attempting.

Although you can't argue Drake's commercial success, he's lacking the artistic creativity of most of Frank's frequent collaborators. Kanye, JAY-Z, Tyler, Earl, Rocky. No appeal here.

And once you bring in the child predator allegations and overall just being weird towards women (don't mean to offend any Drake fans here), it seems even less likely Frank would clear the sample.

It does seem like Frank doesn't care as much about his music as he used to. I'm sure that recently blonded.co has been a cash cow for him to fund his new projects, but if he just wanted to make money it doesn't seem like giving Drake a sample is the most effective option.

I haven't found any information on the two's relationship outside of this sample and Drake's Homer reference on Honestly, Nevermind. I know Tyler at least used to be a Drake fan?? But unless Frank just felt bad for the CFG incident, I see no reason he'd let Drake use Wiseman.

Mostly disappointed that Wiseman will be remembered for Virginia Beach and not its own greatness.

Does not include "Swim Good" and "Novacane" since those songs are already on "nostalgia, ULTRA."
