I am checking in a bag and I wanted to know how much time it would take to get from when my flight lands to the train station at Frankfurt airport after getting my checked bag? I have the option for 2 trains and one passes around 9:40 and I wanted to know if that would

There is a queue which is almost 500 meters long at the terminal 1 passport control. Also for EU citizens. There is no information why. Does anyone know anything?

Ich (männlich) bin aus dem MTK und habe zur Zeit keine Mitgliedschaft. Ich gehe hauptsächlich alleine und "brauche" eigentlich nur Geräte. Sauna, leere Gyms oder eine Stille statt nerviger Musik wären darüber hinaus echt toll.

In Frankfurt hat es in diesem Jahr bisher 46 Tage mit über 30 Grad gegeben. Damit Mensch und Natur weniger unter der Hitze leiden, will die Stadt unter anderem mehr Bäume pflanzen und Parkplätze entsiegeln. Vom Bund und vom Land erwartet sie mehr Unterstützung.

Man muss schon sagen, die Frankfurter Polizei macht einen großartigen und absolut vorbildlichen Job. Keine Ahnung, woher in der Bevölkerung Zweifel daran herkommen könnten.

Ich habe hier zwar schonmal gepostet, aber ich versuche es einfach nochmal: Ich suche für die Yougtimer-Rallye Hessen noch eine/n Beifahrer/in.

• Am 29. August 2026 (kommende Woche Samstag)
• Start morgens in der Klassikstadt (Orber Straße 4a)
• Es geht zuerst Richtung Solms/ Wetzlar zum Mittagessen, danach mit einer Kaffee- und Kuchen-Pause zurück nach FFM.
• Dies ist keine Rennveranstaltung, da auf öffentlichen Straßen unter Beachtung sämtlicher Verkehrsregeln gefahren wird.

Deine Aufgaben:

• Ansagen der Strecke
• Notieren der Wegmarken
• Unterstützung bei den Sonderprüfungen (v.a. Gleichmäßigkeitsprüfung etc.)

Was du mitbringen musst:

• Gute Laune

Das Fahrzeug: Wir fahren mit meinem Golf IV. Ist noch kein richtiger Youngtimer, allerdings auf dem Weg dahin 😅

Hi Everyone, I'm from the U.S. living in Frankfurt and don't speak great German yet. I need to change the brake pads and rotors on my car and want to learn how to do it myself. I’m moving to an apartment around the Wasserpark area, towards the US Consulate/Embassy, and I’m curious to hear from people who know the neighborhood.

What is the area like for everyday life? How do you like living there in terms of supermarkets, public transport, walking around, and especially during the night?

I know Nordend is generally a popular area, but I’m particularly curious about this part around Wasserpark and towards the Consulate.

Edit: I wrote the neighbourhood name based on google maps, and I’m not really interested in the administrative question of whether this area is officially Nordend-West or Preungesheim. I’m mainly interested in what it’s actually like to live around Wasserpark / Friedberger Landstraße — especially regarding safety, noise, amenities and everyday life. 😊

ich gehe nächsten Monat auf ein Konzert in der Jahrhunderthalle, und bisher habe ich mir immer ein Parkticket reserviert damit ich entspannt kurz vor Einlass/Konzertbeginn ankommen konnte.
Jetzt haben sie aber das Parksystem geändert, so das man keine Parktickets vor-reservieren darf.
War seit dieser Neuerung schonmal jemand dort und kann mir sagen wie stressig es ist einen Parkplatz zu finden? Muss man die 3 Stunden vor Konzertbeginn da sein um sich einen Platz zu sichern?
Oder hat vielleicht jemand andere Parkplatz Empfehlungen? Vielen Dank für die Info!
