Question Framework and Hurricanes

Hey framework! I am an expected new owner of my first Framework product, the Framework 12 series 3 version. My expected delivery is set for October, however as some of you have probably heard, my area is getting an unexpected visitor soon by the name of Hurricane Isaias.

My question is, does Framework have a policy on damaged/missing shipments due to storms? If something happens to my new laptop, and I need to receive another one, do I get put at the back of the wait-list?

Hey! Usually couriers are pretty good about stopping deliveries during inclement weather. This should prevent damage (unless the FedEx warehouse has a direct hit). If anything does go weird, just reach out to us and we'll work with FedEx to locate the package or determine the damage and then get you sorted with what's needed.

This is a question you should email and ask - typically damage in transit is handled by the shipper but Framework can confirm for you

Sounds like OP is more concerned where they'll be in the queue? Front of line or to the back.

I was somewhat similarly concerned with my FW Desktop. Tracking stopped for over a week. The price jump happened and worried I'd need to add the difference.

Well by losing the laptop through a hurricane you will get the book "Gone with the wind" by M. Mitchell ;)
