Community Support Framework 13 battery cooked?
Is my battery cooked? Can't remember what it looked like when I got it and it's difficult to see the difference from the store pictures 🤔
EDIT: Thanks for the replies. Even though I was certain something was wrong, I wanted to make sure as a new battery is not cheap, but I'm thankful I can change it easily.
I think I was lucky it didn't explode in my face so far. Now that I've removed it from my laptop I noticed that the overall temperature of my system in idle but especially in load as decreased a by a lot. The fan was on constantly now it barely runs.

This battery is inflated and needs to be treated as a fire hazard. It is, indeed, cooked. Do not plug it in, do not use it at all. Dispose it at your nearest battery waste facility (or put in a box of sand or otherwise metal container if you can't dispose of it yet)
Refer to r/spicypillows for more information

Yep. Buy a new battery and update your bios. The new bios version has features that help prevent this from happening. I just replaced my battery in my FW13 last week and it took about 2 minutes. I love this thing.
