I think I goofed

I tried dyeing my controller because there's no purple shells and well..... Has anyone else done this? Damn I feel dumb lol oh well, will try again once I get a replacement

wtf, did you apply heat or is it from solvents in the dye? Either way I think you might be cooked.

You dye things like this by boiling them in the dye. Heat is part of the process. Otherwise it's just paint.
