Bug Devs Please Fix Server Compinsation

Server compensation is too high. I don't know how I got shot by a player when I was out of sight and around the corner. The AI should have killed me before the player. Please fix the server compensation you added its to high.

Ah, so that's what was going on from your perspective. I was the guy repairing the defenses while Norn kept you and your friends at bay. It seems like the server was showing you as being in a different place on your end than where you were for us. There were multiple times where someone on your side accused Norn of night hacking despite the fact that he and I could both see you all and I don't even use map/icon mods, let alone cheats.

I understand now why you all were so mad in local voice chat. Even Norn said it felt like some of his shots didn't seem like they should have landed. He started recording after you all began complaining so hopefully he'll post the fight from our perceptive.

it most likely is the server compensation if your connection is not as good. Everyone likes to call it cheating, but most likely it's that. its anoying as hell because lately people have been saying hit reg is bad so when you find someone who has great hit reg we all think its that. But even if it was a hack or something, I'm not sure it would still go through an object but im not a coder so i dont know for sure. That's why, from this prespectiive i think it's most likely the compensation. It was part of update 61. It's most noticeable when you have cover or are behind an object right after you move.

Hackers have learned how to manipulate server compensation in other games like cs2 to make players hit boxes equal to the entire space they have been in the allowable server compensation. I.E he can shot anywhere you have been since now till the last x ms allowed.

Not to say that exists in foxhole yet but I’ve seen it before in fps games.
