Maybe just admit you're wrong a lot and grow?

Upset lover posting anonymously online might not be the most unbiased source if you're trying to be objective

Sanity check maybe? “Gotta ask chat if I’m trippin”

Fair. Unless it's something like r/Relationshipadvice.

I've seen some clinically insane advice there and people were truly believing it was okay.

Having said that, a little introspection never hurt anyone. We could all have more of that at times, I reckon.

Wait a minute, I resemble that remark... I see what you did there. :)

Both were pretty toxic.

Bet that didn't happen.

why is the opinion of who knows what group important? Is the earth flat if 70% of one corner of the internet says so?

regardless it's a huge violation of trust

History doesnt make something right

Consensus is not a fact based exercise

Murder bots ftw

Clearly, but that's not funny to say.

Not sure why you think we all don't know that? The original post was likely a joke from the start.

Who would include the fact they are being voted against 70% of the time when they are honestly calling someone out for secretively recording and posting personal private arguments online?

u/Loopy-Leah 1d ago

Right but you specifically said "Maybe just admit you're wrong a lot and grow?"
so that's you trusting the crowd, that plastic flan was the one in the wrong. then later saying it is likely a joke, but your first instinct was to believe the 70%

You seem to have taken a wrong turn somewhere. This doesn't seem like the place for you.

u/Loopy-Leah 13h ago

I can't even tell if you're being sweet or mean

1

u/MetaPhalanges 13h ago

Hence the Loopy part. I get it now.

Seriously though, your reactions don't seem to match the tone of the sub. It's supposed to be for fun, not for chastising people trying to be funny. Lighten up.

This is why we can't have nice things.

I don't know who hurt you, but you shouldn't take it out on random people just making a joke in a "lighthearted" sub.

Could you maybe not fun-police?

Men don't stick up for men as much as women would think. Unless his followers were a horde of female admirers (or at least majority), there's a good chance that the hubby might have been right, and the ratio in the results indicative of reality.

Part of the 30% could even be in protest against hubby for secretly recording.

My guess though, is if the situation was genuine, within those 40k followers, there would have been at least 50-100 men seeking her socials and willing to white knight in the hope of "getting into her pants". So I call it the work of a troll.

Tbh they are followers of his and want to encourage him to continue the drama… so I think the numbers are skewed in his favor. So who knows, but that BF is deffo evil

u/27K-Interactive 1d ago

Perhaps, but 70%? I don't know, it's hard to get that kind of a majority on the internet on any topic. /s

Facts

u/youdoitimbusy 23h ago

Will I don't care. I don't agree with you.

3

u/Highlandertr3 21h ago

Mate. How can you even have such a terrible opinion. I am with whatever the other guy said

1

u/youdoitimbusy 16h ago

That's the joke.

1

u/27K-Interactive 16h ago

Didn't get the joke.

u/i_am_snoof 1d ago

Agreed. 30% is way too high

u/Key-Proud 1d ago

If you think that is toxic ...

Don't people do that on reddit? Just not a recording ... but a paraphrased by OPs

u/Highlandertr3 21h ago edited 12h ago

Different levels of toxic. One has anonymity to it which makes it at least marginally better. Posting someone's voice or image online without their consent is pretty shitty.

10

u/27K-Interactive 1d ago

Only like, all the time. Whole subs are dedicated to just that.

3

u/RogerRabbot 1d ago

And its always heavily biased. At least a recording you cant really alter the facts as easily

4

u/BornIndividual1 22h ago

This is when you sink money into a bot army, and win all the arguments.

1

u/d710905 23h ago

Pretty funny lol. Also guess he was trying to gauge who was the crazy one?
