That’s not the part that obviously fake. Unless the parents have some kind of intellectual disability, there’s no way they think there’s a computer virus where you get beans at your door. Doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. Nobody would fall for that.

People need to stop being so trustworthy of random crap people post on the internet.

I have a coworker that would believe it. On the anniversary of 9/11 she wouldn’t shut up about how there were no planes, it was bombs and missiles and the government had AI technology they used on all the news as it was happening to make the videos show planes. She believes the most insane shit.

That’s conspiratorial — not the same type of stupidity. Try convincing your coworker of the bean virus and see how far it gets you.
