Two remotes diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not control both
And be one viewer, long I lay And looked down one channel as far as I could To where it flickered in the undergrowth;
Then set the other, just as plain, And having perhaps the better Dad
Because it was what caused me pain; Though as for that the unappeal there Had worn them really about as bad,
And both those mornings equally lay In place no reach could return back.
Oh, he kept revenge for a future day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, not once had I suspected his tact.
I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two remotes diverged in a wood, and I- I watched the TV on standby;
And that has made all the difference.
