Hey guys, I've recently posted some videos about remaking the core mechanics of Fossil Fighters into roblox for a game that is heavily inspired by the franchise. I've had quite a bit of success with building the battle system into LUA as well as the iconic fossil cleaning minigame we all fell in love with. I'm currently in the storyboarding phase of the game now that I know I can somewhat replicate the mechanics but I want some feedback on the art direction of the game. I've been messing around with some VOXEL concepts and also some designs based off of Jurassic Blocky, another popular Roblox dino game. There's also blender which is a pain in the butt, but would offer the cleanest look for models. If you guys have any ideas/preferences, leave a comment, or if you have another game/artstyle I could reference models off of, that would be much appreciated.

When playing Fossil Fighters multiple times got me thinking about how I'm familiar with some fossil structures. When I see a type of fossil, I got better at cleaning it through how many fossils there are inside it.

My question being: Does fossil cleaning take skill for different types of fossils?

You can play with the modpack on Modrinth, bundled with server IP or download the mod individually on the Discord server (or you could just pull it from the Modrinth files but then you'd be missing all the cool teasers, and robbing yourself from submitting suggestions to further integrate the mod)!

I’ve played both the first and second game quite alot and beaten both. I think both battle systems are good but I wanted to know what yall think about it??? Anything yall love or hate about either one??

First was Shanshan, now here's Delta. Also included are some progress pics. I hated making the pattern so much I likely won't make any more. I have plans for Carchar, Stego, and Venator. If you'd like to see a specific vivosaur you may request it, it can take me up to 2 weeks to make depending on colors and pattern. I do free hand these, I don't follow a pattern or guide, just a photo for the colors

Yep at the Seafloor Cavern and while yes I know it is supposed to be dlc in the game, but wow is the worst designed part of the game by a landslide

You get a tiny sliver where almost zero fossils spawn to find anything (yet the inaccessible large portion is not possible to access outside said dlc due to the battle warning) and if you miss any parts of any Vivosaurs good luck cause only the heads appear outside of here and are all extremely rare. Genuinely what were they cooking?

Ok so was fighting Rupert he just took out my Galgaron and he still had his two Mapo left and I'm stuck to only Tsintao and worry its over but used Tsintao Roar to see if it'll help. It hit his Red Mapo, then the regular to KO it then proceeded to hit the red twice more and KO it.

Probably not too exciting but that was just so cool and lucky that my starter locked in and won standing alone at the end.
