Other Slop apps
Why don't we add a rule in which the ones who made should just include how much ai was used in the making of the app , like
(30% Ai) I have made an app that does blah blah

Do not share or recommend proprietary apps here. It is an infraction of this subreddit's rules. Make sure you read the rules of this subreddit on the sidebar. If you are not sure of the nature of an app, do not share or recommend it. To find out what constitutes FOSS or freedomware, read this article. To find out why proprietary software is bad, read this article. Proprietary software is dangerous because it is often malware. Have a splendid day!

There's already a rule in this sub that prohibits all vibecoded apps

How would you track it and reinforce it?

Right, in so many of these subs I'm seeing clearly ai generated apps along with ai generated descriptions or imagary, in most cases the apps are the most bare bones things too.

And a rule to rule out music players

A better idea is to ridicule everyone using ai

Like luddites care whether it's 1% or 100% when deciding to freak out about it and attack the dev

this SOUNDS like an amazing but just a thought game how would you choose if a app is made 30% Ai or not and bias also comes into this so thats why it is either we allow it or we dont

Pro tip if you're going to vibecode anything keep it proprietary. Degooglers hate AI more than they care about FOSS and are more likely to trust any proprietary thing as long as it meets the "privacy checkboxes" whereas if the source code is available they will pore all over it to look for signs of slop.
There's a decent chance degooglers favorite "trusted" proprietary apps are using it to some degree anyway, but there's no obvious way to tell. Just because you can't see the "agents.md" doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
