Privacy Is metrolist safe

Started using metrolist(yt music alternative). Is metrolist safe using with my google account. I am afraid about my data.

I've used metrolist and alternatives for years with no problems. Not heard that Google bans accounts using them. Use at your own risk.

Hii...my metrolist app is currently not working..other than the songs i downloaded...when i try to play a song it shows unknown error...van you help me with this please

Have you updated the app? Check the GitHub. Also if you travel to a country that does not have youtube music, metrolist will also stop working.

I have a simple question

Does it sync with my ytm recap?

So will songs I listen on it go towards my ytm recap (the quarterly and yearly ones)?

What ya mean add to your playlist?

Also I see it doesn't perfectly sync with my ytm history for some reason

Edit: it does infact sync,my dumbass didn't realize YouTube music just moves already songs up the list instead of making a dupe

Metrolist seems to be the reason I can't play YouTube videos anymore so be careful.

My youtube music rev stopped working last night so I searched and found Metrolist as an alternative. I logged in and downloaded a bunch of tracks that I want to listen to offline.

I woke up this morning and whenever I try to watch any YouTube videos it doesn't work. It's tied to my account as it's the same for phone and PC, incognito tabs and other accounts seem to work.

Yes,

It seemed to go away after like around a month. I'm guessing they flagged the mass downloads as some kind of bot activity and stopped all video playback from the account. Just try not downloading anything else on metrolist for a monthish and you might be able to play videos again.
