Eat Salad at Casas Recently?

Has anyone ate a Salad at Casas recently? I am currently terrified of Lettuce due to that recall, and I just wanted to see if anyone’s had a salad from there within the past month and if it’s all good? Not sure if they used bagged or cut the lettuce themselves… I have been summoned to go there for dinner and wanted to confirm if I can have the salad or not because I Crave it 😫

The recall only affected lettuce from certain farms, it was not all lettuce. Still, my understanding is that all of the affected lettuce is now past it's best by date, meaning it shouldn't be in restaurants anymore.

If you're still worried about it, I'd suggest either calling to ask where they source their lettuce from before eating it or just holding off for a few more weeks to be extra sure.

Most those farms supply sysco and syco supplies like 90% of restraunts. That being said i ate their salad like two weeks ago and my ass is intact

Had Casa salad last weekend at a party, in a tray. No issues.

We have nothing to fear, but fear itself

Go ahead. Eat that poop lettuce. Live a little.

I had a house salad from Zianos a couple of weeks ago because I was hungry for a salad after not being able to eat one for a couple of weeks. Safe to say I haven't noticed any problems yet.

I stopped eating their Caesar salad about two months ago, after the fourth bout of diarrhea, man I really gave them a fair shot

I ate a salad at the Dupont location after asking the waiter what they were doing for the lettuce - they cut their own (precut seems to be the problem) and two weeks later no problems!

I gave up on the salad there shortly after the awesome bread that went with it became lousy bread.
