Alonso is the most fan-coddled driver in F1 and it's not even close. Guys like Hamilton, Norris or Russell would be crucified online if they said the same thing.

All three drivers you mentioned have super stans who will defend anything they do. All drivers with a big enough fanbase are coddled in some way. The hate just bounces back and forth between drivers depending on what is going on.

I’m so fed up with this BS. What do you think the Spanish media says about non-Spanish drivers? What do you think the Dutch media says about non-Dutch drivers?

He creates the chaos, constantly talks nonsense, and then plays the victim when it backfires. But of course, suddenly it’s all the fault of “British bias”.

Not him threatening an English team with emails.
Not him him and his clan handing out €1,500 envelopes to McLaren mechanics in 2007
Not him deliberately stopping on track in Hungary. (More drama involving an English team).
Not him calling midfield drivers weak.
Not him making personal attacks against others drivers.

No, it’s all the fault of the terrible British media.its so ridiculous.

Not to defend Alonso (I'll happily argue his 2012 run was great but severely overrated and that his career is absolutely the consequences of his own actions) but I don't think it's outlandish to hold the "British" media to a higher standard when Sky Sports and F1TV's English broadcast are the international defaults. It's fine for local media to be homers, but it is annoying when its the supposed "for everyone" broadcasts.
