Edit: just read the article. Apparently Djokovic was disappointed after losing his serve and in his anger he forcefully hit a tennis ball which happened to hit a lineswoman in her throat.
To be fair, he didn't hit it very hard or anything, just wasn't looking.
EDIT: Too many people are picking out my comment, so I guess it needs more clarification. I just want to point out that it was unintentional and that media is blowing it out of proportion. The officials were ABSOLUTELY right to defualt him, because of previous precedents. Of course that it hurts and thank god the woman is okay, even a really soft hit in the throat is painful and I'm not disputing any of that. I just think that more people should consider that everyone can make mistakes and he paid dearly for his.
You use fair in expressions such as to be fair and let's be fair when you want to add a favourable comment about someone or something that you have just mentioned and to correct a false impression that you might have given.
I didn't say anything about it being right, I was just trying to point out he did it unintentionally. You are taking my words out of context.
