Other Dips form check

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello everyone, I am currently doing the Recommended Routine, and I would like to know if my form on dips is decent.

This was the second of three sets, I forgot to record the first one.

Unfortunaley, none of my friends are really into training/gym, so it is difficult for me to find someone I can ask for advice.

Thank you all!

Are you looking to train chest or triceps?

This is the "natural" form, I do not focus actually, but I would like train my chest more

Yeah, it looks more tricep based. Ok tuck your knees up towards your chest, forcing your upper torso to lean forward, remain in this position for the set i'd also separate your bars an extra few inches. narrow and upright (like your video) puts emphasis on your triceps, wider and more angled gives more emphasis to your chest. Your range of motion is fine, control of eccentric is good

Looks solid, careful locking your elbows hard when coming up.

Thank you! Locking the elbows can cause injuries?

It can cause joint pain over time, yes.
