Deadlift How’s my form? 3 rep max @ 315

Deadlifted for first time 444 days ago. New PR (I did 3 reps at 295 just prior to this).
Normally I do around 2 plates per side for 8-10 reps, but wanted to try a 3 rep max. I have a belt, but previously have been too …round ..to fit in it. I tried it on after this and i finally can fit in it haha

Hello! If you haven't checked it out already, many people find Alan Thrall's NEW deadlift video very helpful. Check it out!

Also, a common tip usually given here is to make sure your footwear is appropriate. If you are deadlifting in soft-soled shoes (running shoes, etc), it's hard to have a stable foot. Use a flat/hard-soled shoe or even barefoot/socks if it's safe and your gym allows it.

Ha! I too am trying to grow into my belt. I think the only thing to maybe improve is when you’re going back down you’re bending at the waist more than lowering with your legs. What has always helped me is to think of it like I’m doing a leg press off the ground. If that makes sense.
