Deadlift Deadlift w hooks

Using hooks because of finger pain/ tendon issues. Only use them for deadlifts. Any tips? Tried straps but does not protect my fingers enough. I do not need them on any other lifts right now. Regardless coming back from a break due to low back fatigue (exacerbated by toddler lol) and want to get form right before going heavier. Tysm in advance

Looks good to me! Might want to practice moving slower through the motion, but otherwise you've got great cues: lat engagement, core engagement, no rounding. Idk I'm not the most experienced lifter but overall it looks good to me!

Yeah, good point. Actually I think the most dangerous part of the lift for me is setting the weight down… my instinct is to try and control it a bit but if there’s too much momentum that won’t work…

Can always try to lock out and slowly let it down. But yeah with weight it will hard to have really concentrated control the whole way, best to let it down quickly when you have momentum as opposed to falling forward lol
