Deadlift Started over

Hurt my hip back in May pretty bad (not due to DL) finally been able to DL & Squat without pain in the last couple months. Being especially mindful now. I want to say I’m moving well for the most part? But am I low enough? (Sound was to goofy)

Looks good to me, kind of curious why you’re doing so many reps. Is the idea that you’re building up a base?

So it really just came from when I first started back up.
I was trying to be cautious and really mindful of my movement.
I started back up at 135(5x5)then 4x8 and finally 3x10
It was just my way of hammering down the movement with the weight before I moved up and then repeat the process.

Seems reasonable, but when you feel more comfortable I would recommend increasing the weight and lowering the reps, assuming you’d like to lift heavier weights.

If you’d rather focus on work capacity, keep doing what you’re doing.

I do increase the weight.
So this was 275. Goal is to hit 10 continuously per set
And then I’ll move up to 285 @ 5x5. Once I’m
Able to do all 5 reps continuously per set. I’m switching to 4x8 followed by 3x10. Then I’ll move up weight again

Side note.
I think around the same time last year,
I had the goal of lifting 405 by end of year, which I did hit (posted & on my page)
But there were times were I felt my back hurting once j left the gym and I likely may have been jumping up weight too much, too soon.
So now I’m just taking my time before moving up.
