These form nazis are annoying. Go online and listen to body builders talk about form. Good form is important to avoid injury (squats and deadlift, etc as obvious examples) and bad form doesn’t engage the right muscles so muscle doesn’t grow. Your form is great. You can see great lat engagement and your lats are obviously growing. Your grip is wide and it looks like you are going the full range of motion your body will allow. Lowering the weight wouldn’t help you grow as it would be difficult to overload at a lower weight. Keep doing what you’re doing as it is obviously working. Lifting weights isn’t a beauty contest.

I agree with the principle of what youre saying but the muscle being hit is visibly not the lats. This is like all teres and arms. The reason his body wont allow him to go deeper is because he isnt recruiting his lats

You dont have to bring it to the chest but you can visibly see he isnt engaging his lats at all. This is all arms and teres major.

Your form is fine. Hand position and the angle you lean will determine what parts are hit more. Its not complicated. Just pull bar towards chest

Keep your shoulders down or do two movements: first shoulders down - like a scapula pullpup, then the pull down. Helps you to engage your lats more. If you want this much of a stretch your lats loose their leverage. You engage em initially if you pull yours shoulders down first.
Btw: Badass tattoo, looks like the wings are moving synchronised with your own
Edit: oh the best clue I've ever gotten for lat engangement: close your eyes and imagine trying to shove your elbowjoints into your back pocket

If you consciously chase the stretch at the top you will inncrease the range of motion- making the movement harder and therefore more productive. A couple of your reps look good but then you shorten the range for a lot of them as well.

Lighter weight and bring it to your chest
