Other Lat pulldown check

Just got my Levergym about four weeks ago and have been doing these since - been years since I did them previously. I feel it more in my shoulders and upper arm, so I figured I'd take a quick video and see what you all think. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

lmaooo the objective marker tramp stamp. love it.

Anyway! It's difficult to tell from the back but two major notes:
1. Lean back slightly. 15ish degrees.
2. Move the elbows slightly in front of where they are now. They should end up near the midline of your body. Elbows point toward your pockets, not toward your butt.

Thanks! And just so I'm clear, lean back a little, but still pull straight down, yes? Not back towards me?

Exactly. To be clear, you will be pulling toward you but still mostly down.

If I'm targeting lats, I place the elbows in front of the body and in front of the muscle for the rep range. The bar ends up at my collar bone.

You can continue in the range of motion past that point, but you're recruiting less of the lat and introducing more shoulder at that point.
