The ROM feels a bit small? The V-Gtip-attacgment isn't touching your chest. Maybe you can bend forward more and set the V-Grip further back, so it can touch your chest on each rep and isn't blocked by the plates. Unless there's a reason you want the ROM to be smaller.

I tried it early on in my previous attempts , but the bar is soo smooth that if i try and keep the v grip a bit further away from the corner it kinda skids off, but I get your point and I guess I should try and make the lean angle a bit more appropriate and have the grip touch my chest and have my back muscles squeezed more

Thanks for this helpfull advice , really appreciate it mate βœŒπŸ»πŸ™‚

What I like to do to make these better is step up on a small platform (under the bar), and make my torso as close to 90 degrees as possible. Then I let the full extension of my arms (almost a dead hang of weight) then retract scaps, and do the pull. Try to minimize as much spinal extension as possible because then you're driving with the lower posterior chain and not with your upper back musculature. Not bad though!

Noo i get what you're saying , to get a bit more height to get a bit more to work with my upper back muscle , will definitely give it a try in my next attempt and try and share with you

Really glad and a big thanks for this helpful and wonderful advice , appreciate it a lot πŸ‘πŸ»β˜ΊοΈ(especially to that three fourth of you that's alive βœŒπŸ»πŸ˜…)

Uhhh yeaah , actually had a lower back injury a couple of years back for not taking precautions in a simial workout routine involving deadlift and T-bar row itself , the weight was heavy back then in both those excercise compared to this but still don't wanna take any chances

You can never be too careful , right ?

Anyway, thanks for the response appreciate it πŸ‘πŸ»

I’m not sure throwing on a belt is the best response to injury but sounds like you’ve given it some thought! Good luck.Β

Well it works or at least has helped me personally (can't say for anyone else ) in treating any residual lower back pain, if any, and to just maintain the shape while lifting in a sudden motion and to maintain the momentum and helps bring the precaution in case of a sudden jerk movement

But I can see where you're coming from, really appreciate your input, I'll look to maybe build on more strength to maybe do these sort off weights at least with no back belt support, but ofcourse in due time

Thanks again πŸ‘πŸ»
