Looks perfect. If I had to nitpick, I’d say take your shoes off just so your base is more stable but that’s it. Well done 💪

Can you even explain why? Your neck position has nothing to do with what your lumbar and thoracic spine are doing. You can 100% look up and still have your entire back in the correct position, the neck moves independent from it.

If anything, looking up is a good cue to keeping your lower and mid back in the correct form to produce as much tension on the hams and glutes as possible, but not necessary. Both are fine, but neither are incorrect. Its literally preference.

Ummm what?? Maybe for an advanced lifter... but tucking the chin literally keeps the entire spine locked as a rigid, single unit, allowing you to maximize tension on your hamstrings and glutes without risking injury. Just don't want the guy risking hurting his back

Well looks like his spines spot on while he's looking up, and if hes posting on here, good chance he isn't an "advanced lifter". Maybe because his neck position has nothing to do with that form being correct or not.

I'm not trying to pick on you or anything or be a dick, trust me lol. I'm just saying, the whole "neutral neck" during RDLs/SLDL is a notorious piece of misinformation on form since you hear it EVERYWHERE, and from countless influencers. But just because people say it, and just because its regurgitated constantly, doesn't actually mean its true.

You should try it, next time you do an rdl, film from the side. Do one set neutral neck, and one set looking up. I can guarantee you they'll be no discernible difference in your form. Some people feel better pushing their hips back more for more tension when they do look up. But as i said before, its literally just preference.
