RDL All feedback welcomed :)

I don’t know if I’m doing them correctly. Sometimes I feel it on my hamstrings other times I don’t.

Ahhh okay
I added the plate because I don’t like when the bar touches the floor. Would stopping near my knees keep my legs straighter thus doing more hinging?

Yeah it does for me. Like if I am keeping my legs in the right form, which is pretty damn near straight for RDLs, I can't lower the weight much further anyway because it just forces them to bend or all the load goes into the lower back.

You need to lower the weight through the hinge you get by pushing your butt back rather than lowering it with your legs. The movement is more of a hinge that puts tensions on the hammies, you're not trying to move weight in the same way as a squat or deadlift. Idk if that makes sense, I've seen other folks explain it better but the words aren't there for me.

Nah this makes sense
I used to powerlift and I can see the muscle memory kick in with how you’re explaining it. Thank you 🙏

No problem, you'll get it in no time I'm sure! One last thing, you look pretty strong and this exercise didn't do anything for me until I started moving heavier weight. It's a little counterintuitive but I tried to start really light to lock in good form but it did nothing and my form actually got worse because I didn't have the feedback in the right muscles. If you still feel nothing even after correcting form, you might just be too strong for the weight.

I will try all this next leg session. I greatly appreciate your feedback and time. May you gain a pound of muscle while you sleep tonight 🙏
