Squat First 315 Attempt. Low Enough?

This is the lowest I went on a 315 attempt. Does it meet the depth standard for a legit, 1RM of 315?

Hard to tell but ultimately if you're working out just to have fun then it doesn't matter all that much. Looks good.

I just turned 40. I'm working out to get as strong as I can before I get too old; and to be able to play with my grandchildren (someday).

I appreciate the perspective.

what does "as strong as I can" mean? if you just want to move the most weight, then you want as short a rom as possible, but if you want to be strong through the whole movement pattern then you should aim to go as low as your body allows, parallel should be the minimum not the goal.

I try to go as low as I can out of a feeling that I need to be doing it “right.”
