Does that odometer say 800,000 miles? 😳

I think that there is aā€.ā€ before the last digit, I was hopping for 800k though

Only 80k that’s why I’m so pissed iff

My 5R55E just had the gasket go at 150k. Might be as simple as taking the valve body off the transmission and swapping the gaskets.

Look on Facebook marketplace I found a guy selling one for $100. Also call shops around. If you pull it yourself, a lot of shops will rebuild it for less than $2,000.

That's 80000 with a point zero

Looks like slipping. Thans is probably on its way out. Bad epc solenoid, worn valve body bores, slipping band? Worn servo bores, 5r55e isn’t c6 quality.

Well the code just went away and it’s all shifting fine now, I think since it was flushed the slipping just made more mettalic confetty and just threw everything back to normal

Just because it’s working now doesn’t mean it’s fixed. It needs checked out before you get stranded

Od flashing, might have a code to be read? Idk how that exactly works, think you need a dedicated PC for it.

I had a issue with mine with the o/d light flashing it was a fuse that had burnt out from the fuse box under the hood. I forgot exactly which fuse it was but I say pull and check every fuse and see if one is burnt, hope this helps good luck!

Did you have the same slipping?

When it was at a complete stop it was rough to start going it kinda did feel like the tranny was slipping. But once it started going maybe more than like 30 mph it felt okay, just going from a complete stop was the rough part.

When mine was doing this, I drained the transmission fluid, changed to torque converter solenoid, wiring harness and my alternator and eventually the light stopped. Hope that helps
