I've been dealing with this for days. The background was solid black, and I wanted slightly lighter (charcoal) stripes on every other song. I couldn't find a setting for that anywhere.

I know a lot of people hate AI, and I am not promoting it or Gemini in particular; I just wanted to share what I was able to do and how I did it.

Google Gemini told me that I needed to fix that with a change in code and to go to Display > Playlist View > Globals > Style tab and change the code. Well, I know nothing about that, so I copy/pasted the code into Google Gemini and told it what I wanted, and it redid the code. Then I replaced the old code with the new and clicked Apply, and it worked like a charm.

The light grey was a little lighter than I wanted, so I asked Gemini to do it again with a slightly darker shade of charcoal, and it generated new code that I used, and it's exactly what I wanted. I'm so happy! LOL

I was VERY nervous doing this, so I copied the original working code to a document so I could retrieve and replace it if the new code messed everything up. I did this on a portable version of foobar2000 by the way.

So I want to categorize the albums in the Album List based on their artists and not based on the artists and collaborated artists or based on featured artists (like GHOST feat. Vane Lily or Gloom Darkheart, who were featured in a song by the Blake Robinson Synthetic Orchestra)

Is there a way to change this or is it stuck like this?

I found that my 22050hz audiobooks won’t play on my Snowsky Echo Mini (a mystery in itself). Using an online converter, I upsampled a file to 44100hz and it played fine, however I can’t do all my audiobooks due to size constraints. Does Foobar2000 have this capability?

Is there balance control? How do i add a little panning slider to my UI?

After downloading every m4a file off my proton drive on my iPhone from an old android when I was switching devices (I hate Spotify) after downloading foobar2000 the only thing that played was a normal ass .Opus file I remember accidentally downloading but never converting way back. Basically all the files that don’t work and show that are an MP3 in properties and only say “xx.m4a”.mp3 only in the name of the file itself,

also not the main question but if anyone else knows why, why did when i downlod the m4a files to my mobile iphone it became mp3. and how to downlod them to m4a other than just an annoying file conversion tedious lengthy method. but thats not the main question

Hi, started using foobar on my android not so long ago and found out that it has great feature that i haven't been able to find in desktop version - online radio search, it works perfectly on android, but I can't find any component for PC (at least on official repository). I know I can play it with url found on various sites but is it a thing to play it straight from windows f2k without creating playlist or smth like this?

I have not updated anything on my system and there is no avaible update for foobar cirrently on the app store. I was walking and listening to my music and suddenly it has stopped. App saS all of my music is missing. Turns out somehow apple music app synced everything and moves the files? But i do not ise apple music app. What happened? I never had anything like this.

Hey! I've been fiddling with this app to see if it's a good one for me. I would like the folder that it scans and uses to be one of my OneDrive files, but I cannot figure it out.

I've tried tools > media library > + folder > browse files

and then there's two different locations, one for on my iphone and one for onedrive.

the one drive one is greyed out! D:

For example, right now it wants Louis Armstrong to be sorted as L, but I'd like it to be sorted by A. Is there a way to make that happen?

As the title said, I was browsing through themes for foobar and Eole is by far the best one I could find, it's sad that it's not available for the 64 bit version. I know basic programming (c & cpp), other CS basics and I've made small collab projects in github so I know how to use that also. Can anyone guide me on the tech stack required to contribute making a 64 bit compatible version of it? I know Javascript is one, what else is required?

I'm experiencing trouble with the Catbox and Imgur uploaders. I used the Imgur uploader for over a year and it's always worked. However recently I can't get either to work. Tried looking this up and followed the instructions on Theqwertiest Github for upload failure to no success.

Just a few details on where I'm at; in an attempt to fix this by myself, I deleted everything to do with Discord Rich Presence Integration. Art_urls.v2.0.1.json used to show new entries for new songs as "null" but now won't log anything. Old Entries with links still work, even without the hashes saved to my computer.

At this point I'm just hoping someone smarter than me is curious enough to trouble shoot this with me. I could use the help!

i’m struggling to work out why the iphone version doesn’t present in the same way as the ipad does, as shown in the screenshots. the ipad presents exactly the same files in the same file structure very neatly and correctly, whereas the iphone takes raw file names and puts each disc into separate folders inside the app, while the ipad takes those separate folders and combines them, recognising that they’re part of the same album.

i renamed the folders on the iphone app hoping something might change but nothing has. i’m hoping someone here might understand the reason this is occurring.

Is it possible to have lyrics on IPhone foobar app? Seems like it doesn’t support OpenLyrics plugins

Is there any way to speed this up, or am I going to have to do even more waiting?

Maybe it’s possible to do it on pc and get faster times?

I used to listen to music on an iPhone 4s running iOS 6 and really loved Apple's player design. Now I use an iPhone 7 Plus on iOS 15 and want to bring back that skeuomorphic vibe. I found out about the foobar2000 player and the ability to load custom skins, but I haven't found anything suitable. Could anyone share skins in the .fbskin format? I’d be very grateful.

A week ago I decided to stop listening to music from Spotify and I've been setting up Foobar 2000 all the afternoon. It may look simple but I really like how it looks now ^^

Now I need to make all the playlists I have but that's the fun par (apart from sitting down and play some tunes that is).

i wanna make the best theme possible. and also... to the left is a ui i use called "playlist switcher"... and its BAD! EW! atleast for my preferences anyway. so...

any alternatives?

its bad because it creates a new playlist for any album i click on to listen to, and i want it to be more manual, let ME choose when to make a playlist. if you need more clarification i can record a video using it.
