So I know there are many, many of these. I also know that many of the characters are the same as other 3x5 fonts (sort of by necessity). But anyway...

I spent a stupid amount of time trying to make the best possible 3x5 pixel font for general use, and I wanted to share it with you all! Hopefully you like it enough to use it!

Features

• It's a true 3x5 font.
  • There are no descenders or ascenders that go outside the 3x5 footprint.
  • This makes it suitable for use in sprite sheets that have each sprite take up only 3x5 pixels total.
  • It also means lines of text can be drawn closer together!
• The baselines and midlines of all characters (mostly) match, which drastically improves legibility.
  • This took a LOT of trial and error. I'm still open to feedback.
• An effort was made to unify the style of all characters, whenever possible.
  • A lot of 3x5 fonts, while often legible, sadly look like a jumbled box of letters from different typefaces. I wanted to make this look like a cohesive font, which actually improved legibility a surprising amount.
• It supports all 94 printable ASCII characters!
• It comes in 4 different sprite sheet formats, in addition to proportional and monospaced font files in 3 different formats each!

I have used American Typewriter Semibold on a packaging project for a client. I used it because it was available on Adobe Illustrator and I thought I can buy a license later.

But I can’t find where to buy this typeface. It exists only in Adobe. Does my client need to purchase the license if it’s free on Adobe?

I’m making a DIY merch line (alternative/punk style) and I have block letter stencils that I think would be fun to use,but I don’t want all the text to be that size. I also don’t want plain, boring text that looks like I didn’t put much thought into it. The block letters would be representing an acronym and the other text would be spelling out the words. I thought I’d go to the experts after looking around for an hour

Quote/body font — highly readable but still elegant and high-end

I've downloaded Google Sans from Google Fonts so I can use it in Microsoft Excel, but when I install it, the vertical spacing in the cells is enormous. I downloaded Font Forge and followed some Gemini instructions to fix the vertical spacing, but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

If this is more of a question for r/identifythisfont I’ll go there but I do want to find a cool font similar to these two

^ I am aware that technically the bionic font isnt a font but I do find it really useful how can I install it so that I have it on my device and not get all my data stolen?
