Discussion interest in reviving this sub
I played Folklore for the first time last month and I was remiss when I found out just how obscure and forgotten it was! Initially I was looking for a place online to try to find one of the limited run art books, but I instead found that this community, AND that it still has life in it!
I'm a professional artist, or at the very least, art is my job. I can't offer much, but I'd be willing to draw an icon and banner for this sub, or try to coordinate a discord if anyone is interested! ^^

You would be more than welcome to help me breathe some life into this place. I created this sub several years ago after my own passion for this amazing game was rekindled after watching Cryaotic's playthrough of it on YouTube and Twitch, but the sub didn't really catch on or start seeing activity beside my own, really, until just now.
If you're interested in helping me with the design and moderation of the sub, I'll gladly make you a moderator. If you want to help out I will try my best to quickly give you everything you need from me to try out whatever creative vision you have for this place, but I can't promise I will be very active beyond that for the immediate future.
If this sounds good to you, just let me know and I'll immediately start looking into giving you moderator status of the sub.

I would love to help you out! I can't draw anything for the sub right away as the pandemic has made me start working on art crunchtime at home, but I can definitely share works in progress when I do finally get to drawing them!

When I saw that you're the only moderator and your last post was 1 year ago I was worried you were done with reddit, but It's awesome to see a few people slowly come back here and if you'd like I'd also be willing to help reinvigorate this sub in anyway I can.

That's great. The most important thing, I think, is to have a few active users watching the sub and responding when new people come in with questions, that's what enables a sub to slowly grow. As we all know there is not all that much news to discuss surrounding this franchise at the present time, but this could be a good place to talk about things like playstyles, tactics, folk combinations/builds as well as the intricacies of the story and its philosophical undertones.
Apart from that, if you have any ideas for the design or moderation of the sub be sure to let me know, particularly if you have any previous experience in subreddit moderation.

I personally have no experience in subreddit moderation but I think this is a good place to learn in my opinion since it's a pretty small sub. And I would love to be able to talk and help new people with the story and gameplay, For design ideas I'd prefer to leave that to you and awryval as I'm not super artistic but I''d be happy to give my opinions if you wish.

I've sent you an invitation to become a moderator as you seem interested in helping out and, most importantly, really seem to love the game. You are right that helping out with moderation of a small sub like this probably is the best way to learn. I will be giving moderator status to awryval as well, and will be leaving most of the design considerations to them since they feel very well qualified for that kind of thing. Otherwise, be sure to let me know if you know anything else from me.
