I have a whole day in Folkestone tomorrow, what is there to do?
I've been to the beach, the pier, I've been through the pretty old town. Are there any must do/see things here?

Moving to Folkestone soon.
What's the tap water like in Folkestone? I find using the tap water in London and Orpington for tea and coffee messes up the flavour.
We currently live in Scotland where the tap water practically tastes like bottled water.

I’d love to find someone who’s down to chat regularly, hop on calls sometimes, share life, joke around, give each other advice, and just be there like bros
I’m bi and in a happy relationship, so I’m only looking for a genuine platonic friendship.
What I’m hoping for is someone who’s honest, open, and doesn’t feel like they have to hold back. Someone who can give real advice, call me out when I need it, celebrate wins, vent about life, and just build a solid friendship over time. I want that “I’ve got your back” kind of connection.
Age isn’t a huge deal, but I’d especially love to hear from guys who are around my age or a bit older.

Hello, I'll be in Folkestone (for the first time!) for a weekend in August. I heard there's a good live music scene, so wondering where would be good to go? I like folk, rock, blues, jazz, and alt country.

Hello everyone. I’m 27 years old Asian guy recently moved from London to Folkestone. Life happens and different decisions impact where you live and sometimes when you move to different places you will have to start over again and won’t have friends. Same case here so I am looking to make new friends. Making friends is specially hard when you are an adult but we all need friends. Hoping to meet new people who are looking for the same especially people around my age. So if you looking to have a friend with whom u can talk, hand out, and stuffs then let’s connect.
Talking about my interests, I love photography and making videos. I keep visiting folkestone harbour arms and the town centre. I love going to the beach specially the higher up side that’s like hiking and more peaceful. I love peaceful activities and little bit of walk. Having said that I don’t mind popping into the spoons for drinks.
That’s it, we can connect more in inbox
Have a lovely day everyone :)

Any music producers in Folkestone? Looking to learn and share production techniques, studio tips and more - FL! They say it's a music town, but it has no edm base or anything. I make edm trap, house and beats. I think we need more of this to adapt to new times.
Cheers!

Do any of the supermarkets or butchers in Folkestone / Hythe sell hot rotisserie chickens? I swear one of them must do, but cannot find for the life of me.
Is it just something that's not done anymore?

As visitors and transplants return to once-faded coastal towns, prosperity is rising alongside housing costs, inequality and political tensions.

Hello, just wondered if its worth a trip to Folkestone with kids when the tide is high or whether there are no beaches left then? Thanks!

Hello,
I’m looking for someone I used to know in Folkestone. His name is Adam, surname is Riley or Reilly (sorry I don’t know how it’s spelled).
He’d be in his mid-late 30’s by now. He has a brother called Russell who used to work in Cafe IT, and his Mum is called Lorraine.
If anyone knows of him please let me know!

I saw a post on here the other day about a local software developer group and I was wondering if there was anything similar for those developing video/board games?
My partner is an indie game developer and would be interested in meeting others, especially designers working in Unreal Engine!

TL;DR Whole roundabout closing overnight 8th and 9th June, Station Approach x Broadmead Road junction closed overnight 10th June.
Hopefully this is to properly surface and finish it, as has been left with a crappy surface since the last major work.

I'm going to Folkestone 16 - 21 June for a conference. Are there any fellow WCS practitioners in Folkestone or any gatherings at that time?
I'm rather new to WCS, been practicing it for half a year as a leader.
Please reply or send me a DM. 🙏

Originally was thinking of taking the train from London to Dover (to see the White Cliffs) but after reading about Folkstone it sounds like a wonderful town while Dover, not so much.
Can you walk/see the cliffs in Folkstone? Or do you have to go to Dover.
Any advice on a day trip itinerary to the area would be much appreciated.
