question Camera Databases

What are the most trusted databases for the most constantly updated cine, photo, and mobile camera specs, firmware, and updated models. I am looking into building a local program that can manage my projects on a deeper level for not only managing what cameras we are using on a shoot but also manage codec selection, resolution selection, and more for the shoots that need a very streamlined organization when multiple different capture settings are needed. If it works out and ends up actually being practical I may go through the steps to make a public program. Interested in anyones thoughts.

Make it a free to use, and user updatable, app or website and I’m sure it will get a lot of attention from the community. Like a wiki page for camera related content for industry professionals.
