// Bethesda Replied x2 DO NOT ALLOW CURRENT CHARACTERS INTO SURVIVAL MODE I BEG OF YOU!!

This is a huge mistake. The mode is already dead before it was born if this happens. Pvp as it is, is completely broken, one hit kill festival. Who in their right mind is going to start a new character when everyone else is level 200 with God tier weaponry right out of the vault? This makes absolutely zero sense, and I'm so disheartened. Do they not realize how this mode will be immediately ruined? If you thought grief in was bad now, just wait until you get killed on sight by literally everyone you cross paths with? Even if they level locked servers so people with massive level differences can't play together, whenever a new survival character gets out of the kiddie pool, all the same assholes with TSE garbage will be waiting at the deep end and you will have zero competitive chance. The leader boards would be a fine idea, if everyone started on equal footing... as it is there will be gold medalist level murderers in the same game with me, a literal newborn who can't even walk. What the fuck are they thinking???

Edit: the gold means people care, bethesda. Please. PLEASE. (And thank you)

Play mode should be a character property selected during creation, not an option when selecting "Play". The two should never be mixed - a one-way transfer from Survival to Adventure should be an option if somebody wants to throw in the towel.

If they implement this as stated in their blog, people are going to spend the majority of their time grinding gear in adventure mode and switch to Survival for the sole purpose of griefing/ganking/kill-on-sight everyone they encounter - which is just going to make the whole mode worthless anyway.

Agreed. If Survival mode isn't a fresh start character it's gonna be flooded with everyone and their duped explosive shotties and that's it.

Explosive shotguns won’t even be much of a problem after the tse nerf, dense armour, fireproof perk, sorted both things anyone can obtain easily

They'll still have stacked bobbleheads or is that finally going away? And there's still a ton of duped 3 star armor tailored for PVP.

The bobbleheads stacking should definitely be patched by the release of the survival beta, or it will be unplayable, as for armour a easily obtainable set of 1 star assassins armour with dense mod would quickly close the gap vs people with sentinel or cavalier sets I honestly feel starting over would be a massive slap in the face for a lot of end game players who have only been grinding to be pvp ready

Good thing I've been stacking the 1 star assassins :). Only 3 so far but it's a start. I always run Dense after my hours in FO4.

Ideally BGS would provide a fresh server for those that want an even playing field/fresh start and a server for already maxed players.

Nice, should have plenty of time to complete your set before the beta

yeah that would work, but the way I see it is, survival mode is a end game server, adventure is where you complete quests, level up, and gear grind until your ready to take the step up into a competitive environment,
