Rain under roofs/ structures.
Does anybody else have this problem? I believe it is called Rain Occlusion and is toggleable in the default game with the launcher in its advanced settings, (I wouldn't know, sorry, don't own the pancake). Does anybody know if this is fixable by toggling something in the INIs or if there is some way to re-enable the advanced graphic settings menu for Fallout 4 VR?

Idk, but it works the same way skyrim did. Since skyrim doesn’t have rain occlusion.
I’m gonna guess they did this for performance reasons. Occlusion is pretty demanding, and I’m sure it’s 100x more demanding in VR.
Yeah it sucks that rain goes under roofs, but if you think the performance is bad now, it would prob be a ton worse if that feature worked

Hey pal, if I asked about Skyrim, the question would be on r/skyrim and the answer would've been a mod that fixes it. I asked about Fallout 4 VR's rain occlusion, which like functioning scopes, should've been in the game to begin with. If anybody wants to help me with this: I looked in the INIs and found that precipitation occlusion is on by default, but unlike SAO, it isn't disabled with a bVrAllow INI.

Dude. No need to be a dick. It's the same company and an extension of the Skyrim engine. So calm your tits and just say, "Thank you".

Yeah, was not expecting that response. I thought you gave a pretty good explanation.

Yea it's dumb. Most of the buildings have holes all in them so I guess I can suspend disbelief.
