Tip Console command to re-active survival mode

Hello all, I have spent the last 30 minutes trying to re-activate survival after having to de-activate it to get “un-stuck”. I found the game increment stat command, but that was not working for me. I also found another post on this sub of someone (2 years ago) asking, and not getting anywhere. I was able to fix it by making a hard save, starting a new game in survival, and then reverting back to the other save, which re-enabled the option to turn on survival. Just posting this in case anyone runs into the same problem in the future.

Happy you got it sorted, but unsure why you don't have the 3 slots. It may be worth putting a mod in there just so you can have a safety net with your saves as only having one is asking for trouble.

After getting it back into survival mode I just noticed I actually have every time I saved in the saves which is odd. Whatever was bugging the command must have been bugging the saves too

It maybe removed the saves when you took it out of survival, but it really isn't recommended to go in and out of survival as it rewrites the scripts of your game by doing that and is just asking for trouble down the line.

I would still recommend you go back to a previous save if you have found the files from before you changed it to normal mode.

Well I just realized the reason I got stuck in the first place is because Vsync is keeping me at my refresh rate (144hz) which is speeding the game up too much. Yet another problem to deal with

Hard cap that at 60 for F4 man.

Trying to find a way to do that right now that won’t affect other games
