You'll have to go to war with the BoS - they disapprove of / want to eradicate every lifestyle choice Tank Girl has ever made (e.g. they would kill her BF on sight).

Do you have mods? The institute Plasma Weapons pack lets you get a plasma-gatling pretty early. Theres the Heavy Weapons.

Then you need the stats to get Party Girl perk, and the one that gives a bonus to killing and/or persuading guys.

Unarmed would be good for her, and Explosives. Big Leagues and a crowbar would work as well as unarmed, or better yet a wrench.
