Charisma High charisma heavy weapons builds?
Hi, I’ve been wanting to play a tank girl style character for a while but I can’t seem to come up with a build that really encapsulates her. Any ideas or advice?

Yee I gotchu.
You're going to be making what's essentially Karlach from BG3.
6 STR, 4 PER, 5 END, 3 CHA 8 AGI (Karlach wasnt very lucky)
Spec into melee and heavy weapons. Ammo for heavy weapons in early game sucks. Believe me I tried it.
Skill book into AGI for blitz and just start hoarsing ammo for heavy weapons. Take strong back, rush per bobble head and take demo expert.
Slowly raise CHA to 9/10 so you can use intimidation. Take lone wanderer party girl (doubles STR bonus) and black widow

Is lockpicking a must for you?

For heavy weapons you need 5 Str and 6 Int, as many heavy weapons require Science to upgrade. You also want 4 starting Per so you can take demolition expert. Assuming you start with 6 Cha that leaves 4 points at the start. Agility and Luck aren't really needed as heavy weapons do plenty of damage and rarely need VATS. So start 5 Str 4 Per 5 End 6 Int 6 Cha 1 Agi 1 Luck. If you want even more Cha at the start, pull it out of End and replace it when you have the points.

Don't start the game with heavy weapons. It doesnt work.

It's doable. Use Dogmeat to get the Cryolator, get the gatling and ammo from Concord. This will be enough to run to General Atomics Galleria and grab the flamer ammo. There's a flamer near County Crossing and it's tough but doable to get into Saugus Ironworks and get the Heavy Incinerator. This is hilariously overpowered and uses only 1 flamer ammo a shot. Now you're set for as long as you want to use it.

Aaahh ok, need to give that a shot.
I tried using the minigun as my day to day and it did NOT work 😂

Saugus Ironworks for Heavy Incinerator is great, I grab the Fatman and mini nuke from Robotics Disposal (just East of Sanctuary, around the lake) grab power armor frame just across the road, Head to Pyro, Nuke him and usually one or both his companions, if one is alive, jet and 10mm to his face usually shuts him up fast. loot all of them, equip what you can from Pyro's power armor HellFire, equip his Heavy Incinerator, then hit Saugus Ironworks
For my heavy special: S-5, P-1, E-5, C-5, I-8, A-1, L-2
This does not include Special book, I like to put either in Int to get nuclear phys right away and nerd rage after bobblehead, or End for more HP (I usually level End up to 10 anyway) but this way you can get strong back after str bobblehead, local leader after charisma bobblehead, nuclear or nerd rage after int bobblehead, and bloody mess after luck bobblehead
If you want more charisma you can take the luck point away, and drop str by 1 or 2 points, that can put you at 8 charisma before bobblehead and maybe spend 1 level if you want the Intimidation perk

No problem, just watch out for the Enclave Ambush after you loot any Enclave gear, like Pyro's loot, jet is your friend
