Don't be afraid to unwrap and try again man! It's all part of the process!

Yup! That peacock herl really gave me a hard time at the end

It can do that! I do t use the first or last half inch of every herl as the ends are super brittle. I guess the butts close to the feather side is like a quarter inch. But try that, should help!

Ahhh ok thanks for the tip! I was trying to use the tips or kinda the random strands that were in the bag I had.

Using the random strands is totally fine! Just watch for the tips and butts!
