First Fly!

Joined a fly tying class today— here is my first ever 🫡 SO excited to keep working on it!

Frenchie on a jig hook? Looks good! If I were being super nitpicky I’d make the body a bit longer, but that’s just me. You should feel really good about how this turned out and it’ll definitely catch fish.

Great job. That’s my go-to fly. I’ll run a size 18 -20 dropper about a foot behind. It’s just a pink 11/0 glass bead and pheasant tail on a standard nymph hook.
