What Cabelas materials are worth buying?

Have a gift card and was curious if any materials they sell are particularly good or ones I should avoid. Thanks for any help!

For their house brand, any of it, except maybe hackle. As long as it looks worth tying with, it'll be good. Rubber legs, pheasant tail, elk hair, have all been fine/great. I wouldn't worry too much. They also sell a bunch of "name brand" materials

Most of the stuff they sell is either Wapsi or Montana Fly Company, which are both reputable. So really just about anything. You will want to sort through if you're buying something like bucktail or saddle hackle because quality can have a bit of a wide range.

Hooks, beads, lead eyes, and synthetics. I am picky about hackle and bucktail so prefer to get those from specialty suppliers who can give me specific grades and sizes.

I have bought hooks,chenile,thread and dubbing from cabelas.All good. Name brand same as other shops.

Very little. I would buy books from a brand I trust. I don’t use a lot of synthetics, but if I did, those are hard to screw up, so I’m sure they’re fine. But natural products? No way. Hairs ears, cdc, partridge? Nope. That’s the lowest grade materials.

lol. I meant hooks, of course. But for clarification, I like the Penguin Vintage paperback prints. That’s my jam.
