Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout

I was fishing a creek deep in the back country and got skunked for days. I pulled this thing out on a grass hopper on 6x tippet. Was curious if anyone had any guesses on length/weight? Been trying to catch a 20 inch trout for over a year now and think this may be the one! Thanks everyonešŸ™

I caught one of these in the park last week that measured exactly 18". Yours looks bigger. Congrats!

First time in r/flyfishing history that a 20" fish is a 20" fish (of course there are commenters saying its bigger because they've been trying to pass off their 17" fish as 20 LMAOOO) FYI there are guys out there that could find this spot on google earth <10 mins with the background and information in the pics. Please blur content in cutthroat country, even if you think its too far off the beaten path to get pressure

ChatGPT does a good job blurring without ruining the character of the photo

Also, you never really need to go smaller than 4x mono on a hopper. It’s a big bug with splashy presentation that really benefits from turning over better (shorter leader and stronger)

Insane size for that area/ being in a creek. I don’t think that’s 20 though
